Why is family history important? Apart from being fascinating, fundamentally, I believe it tells you something about who you are, as well as where you come from. Your perspective on the world changes when you look back in time. As you discover more about your ancestors’ lives, their struggles and their joys, you realise that you are part of something bigger and that life is truly a gift.

My BLOG
I started my family history blog, Unlocking the Door to your Past, in 2020, to tell interesting stories that illustrate what life was like for our ancestors and to help others with their own research by offering advice and case studies on specific topics.
